Are there any other time commitments for my child?
- A few times a year the students will have the opportunity to be involved in public displays on weekends. They will demonstrate the dances they have learned in class time.
- There will be an end-of-year awards celebration evening for our members and their families, and there will be a small cost for families.
- Competitions: As we are a team sport, participants must be available for the October NT Team Championships.
- All soloists must commit to teamwork over solo commitment.

What are we required to bring?
- Students come dressed in a black sleeveless leotard. Available from Danceworld, or on occasion Target or BigW.
- An aesthetic skirt (Sub-Juniors-Inters)
- A water bottle

What do our Fees cover?
- Training venue hire
- Coaches fees
- Certificates, trophies and medals
- Administrative costs (including advertising, bookkeeping, portal costs and competition fees)
- Prop use for example streamers and rods
- Storage space to house all the club's costumes
- Maintenance and upkeep of these costumes
- Funding materials for new costumes, however there may still be a need for further fundraising or additional fees to cover new costumes at times
- Celebration function set up costs

Why are parents discouraged from staying during classes?
- Parents and siblings can be a distraction for the student and the whole class.
- Some students tend to behave better when parents are not there.
- Siblings are not covered by any club insurance if injured from playing on equipment in the training room.
- Training venues have requested that equipment not be touched to avoid injury.
- Parents will be invited to come early to the end of class to watch their child’s progress at times advised by the coach.
